Experience
AUBMC has been providing the highest standards of quality care to patients across Lebanon and the region since 1902. What started as a 200-bed capacity hospital is now an over 350-bed capacity medical center. With the expansion plans outlined in our AUBMC 2020 Vision, our center will be transformed to a medical complex with an over 600-bed capacity. Last year alone, there were over 300,000 patient visits to AUBMC.

Our highly skilled and trained team of over 2,300 members, including 300 physicians, 973 nursing staff and over 1,000 employees is dedicated to providing you with the highest standards of patient-centered care, quality and safety, partnered with service excellence.
Our physicians and nurses bring the highest levels of expertise in unique sub-specialties across multiple disciplines from some of the largest and most reputable western academic medical centers.
Excellence
AUBMC is currently the only medical institution in the Middle East with the three international accreditations of the Joint Commission International (JCI), Magnet®, and the College of American Pathologists (CAP) attesting to its superior standards in patient-centered care, nursing, and pathology/laboratory services. Although we take pride in these international accreditations, we continue to focus on providing higher standards of care, quality and safety, partnered with service excellence.
